Term Classes
Our term classes offer a structured and supportive environment for children to build their artistic skills week by week. With consistent guidance and creative exploration, students grow in confidence, develop technique, and enjoy the benefits of regular creative expression throughout the school term.
Term 4 - Clay Creations (13 October to 06 December)
Clay has been used for centuries to shape ideas into lasting artworks, from intricate figurines to bold abstract forms. In this class, we’ll learn fundamental techniques like slab building and sculpting, experiment with different types of clay, and explore how form, texture, light, and shadow bring creations to life. Guided projects will help you develop your own style while making expressive pieces — from wearable art like keychains and Jibbitz, to larger-scale sculptures.
Term 4 - Comic/ Manga Club (15 October to 03 December)
We’ll be diving into the exciting world of comics and manga, where storytelling and illustration come together! Children will explore character design, world-building, and comic panel layout while experimenting with materials like fine liners, alcohol markers, and acrylic markers. We’ll learn how to express emotions, movement, and action through drawing, all while developing our own unique stories and characters. Whether your child is a seasoned manga fan or new to comics, there’s something for everyone to discover!
