Service Description
Discover the Art of Watercolour & Papercraft! Watercolour and paper have long been used by artists to tell stories, capture emotion, and build imaginative worlds. From delicate washes and expressive mark-making to layered paper constructions, this class invites students to explore both painting and mixed media in a thoughtful, hands-on way. We’ll experiment with colour, character, and composition while learning to combine materials to create whimsical, expressive artworks. What We’ll Explore: • Learn foundational watercolour techniques including washes, blending, layering, and controlled mark-making • Experiment with paper art techniques such as cutting, collage, layering, and simple construction • Explore how colour, texture, and composition work together to tell visual stories • Develop your personal artistic style through guided projects and creative exploration • Create imaginative, mixed-media artworks that blend painting and paper into richly layered pieces
