Back by Popular Demand! Clay is a versatile and hands-on medium that allows students to bring their ideas into three dimensions. In this class, we’ll explore both polymer and foam clay, each offering unique possibilities for sculpting, detailing, and imaginative play. From structured forms to soft, textured creations, students will learn how to shape and refine their ideas into expressive, tactile artworks. What We’ll Explore: • Learn foundational sculpting techniques using both polymer and foam clay • Explore shaping, joining, and refining forms to create strong, well-structured pieces • Experiment with texture, pattern, and surface details across different clay types • Develop spatial awareness and understanding of form in 3D art • Create both decorative and character-based clay pieces with unique, personal designs
